ARAMARK Parks and Destinations Names Eric Johnson V.P. of Operations for Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas

ARAMARK Parks and Destinations has named Eric Johnson vice president of operations for Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas and the Southwest Region. Prior to this promotion, Johnson was ARAMARK’s finance director for Lake Powell and the Southwest Region. He succeeds David Sloma who has been promoted to lead the company’s Pacific Northwest Region operations.

“Eric brings exceptional insights in guest services and a wealth of industry expertise to his new role,” said Bob Marshall, ARAMARK Parks and Destinations’ senior vice president. “Keeping and promoting quality talent within ARAMARK helps our organization maintain positive relationships with its customers and partners and helps assure our guests quality experiences.”

As vice president of operations for the Southwest Region, his responsibilities encompass leading the operations at Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas (Utah/Arizona), Wilderness River Adventures (Utah/Arizona), and Kartchner Caverns State Park (Arizona).

Johnson joined ARAMARK in 2002 as director of compliance for the Sports and Entertainment division before being promoted to regional finance director. During his nine years at ARAMARK, he has made significant contributions in the area of finance as well as strategic business partnerships.  

Prior to joining ARAMARK, Johnson was a senior associate with the Audit/Business Advisory Services for PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York.  He holds a B.S. Degree in Accounting from Kings College, Pennsylvania and an MBA Degree from Saint Joseph’s University’s Haub School of Business, Pennsylvania. Eric and his family reside in Page, Arizona.
