PHOENIX —June 20, 2013 – ARAMARK Parks and Destinations, a leading concessioner of national parks, forests and state parks, is proud to announce that nine locations for which it manages lodging and recreational services have received the 2013 Certificate of Excellence awards by TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel site. This award is given to outstanding hospitality businesses that have received praise and recognition in reviews by TripAdvisor travelers. Recognized ARAMARK-managed locations include several resorts and lodges, a campground, a snowmobile operation and two boat cruises, spanning across AZ, CA, NV, UT, WA and WY.
The TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence award celebrates hospitality excellence and is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveler reviews on TripAdvisor. “We are excited that many of our locations were recognized by our guests and received the TripAdvisor 2013 Certificate of Excellence award,” said Bruce W. Fears, president of ARAMARK Parks and Destinations. “The awards truly exemplify our ability to provide memorable experiences to our guests.”
The ARAMARK-managed lodges that were awarded the 2013 Certificate of Excellence award include Lake Crescent Lodge and Lake Quinault Lodge, two historic lodges on Washington’s Olympic Peninsula. Other destinations recognized were Defiance House Lodge at Bullfrog, Utah and Wahweap Campground at Lake Powell as well as Zephyr Cove Resort at Lake Tahoe and Togwotee Mountain Lodge in Wyoming. Also honored were several ARAMARK-managed services including Lake Tahoe’s authentic paddlewheelers the MS Dixie II, and the Tahoe Queen, as well as Togwotee Snowmobile Adventures, Jackson Hole’s premiere snowmobile operation.
Only the top performing 10 percent of businesses listed on TripAdvisor receive the honor. To qualify for the Certificate of Excellence, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher out of five, as reviewed by guests on the popular travel website. The business also must have been listed on TripAdvisor for a minimum 12 months. An additional qualification for the award is the volume of reviews given to the business.
